Every gathering starts with a simple hello and ends with new friends, fresh ideas, and a sense of belonging. Here, we talk story, share laughs, and spark projects that matter to our islands. It’s about showing up as you are and finding your crew—one wave, one conversation, one collaboration at a time.

Frequently asked questions

Real talk, real connections

Curious about how we gather, connect, and create? Here’s everything you need to know about joining our community and making the most of your experience.

What makes your gatherings different?

Our events are all about genuine connection—think relaxed beach potlucks, creative sessions, and group adventures. We focus on building friendships first, so you’ll always feel welcome, whether you’re new to the islands or a longtime local.

How do I become a member?

Just show up! Attend any of our open gatherings to meet the crew. If you vibe with our community, you can sign up to join our ʻohana and get access to member-only events and project teams.

Do I need to know someone to join?

Not at all! We love meeting new faces. Whether you come solo or with friends, you’ll find a laid-back, inclusive group ready to welcome you. No networking pressure—just real talk and good company.

What kinds of projects do you support?

We support anything that brings people together and helps our community—creative collabs, skill-shares, mālama ʻāina days, and more. If you have an idea that matters, we’ll help you find your team and make it happen.

Is there a cost to participate?

Most of our social gatherings are free or pay-what-you-can. Some workshops or special events may have a small fee to cover costs, but we always keep things accessible. No one’s left out for financial reasons.

How do I stay in the loop?

Sign up for our newsletter or follow us on social. We share upcoming events, member stories, and ways to get involved—so you’ll never miss a chance to connect or create something meaningful.
